Occupy Sonoma County - GMO Campaign Meeting

Sin definir

Mon, September 23, 7-9 PM

Unitarian Universalist Congregation
547 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa

Please join our GMO Campaign meeting this Monday. Everyone Welcome!

We will be making plans for our fall activism including the next Global March Against Monsanto in October and a massive phone banking drive to get the GMO labeling initiative passed in Washington state in the November election. Other plans and ideas will be discussed and followed up on as par of our By mAny Means Necessary Campaign! Please join us.

It would take 5% of US consumers asking for GMO-free to be the tipping point.
Monsanto's stock is already declining. A clear sign of this occurred last year, when the president of Whole Foods confessed that when a product becomes verified as Non-GMO or GMO-free, sales leap by 15-30 percent. Of all the categories of health and wellness claims, such as “gluten-free,” etc, “GMO-free” products have the most rapid growth in sales.

We can win this! Together we can stop GMOs.
